tigermike Doctors today are trying to find solutions for a variety of illnesses and ailments. Erratic eating and food habits and the polluted environment, which we live in, are responsible for many of the diseases, which are prevalent today. Places are not cleaned well and this makes the perfect ground for germs to breed and spread. Research is being conducted in order to find cures for many new diseases, which seem to be affecting people. Some of these attempts in finding a cure have been successful while some have failed.
One of these medical problems is hemorrhoids. This is a condition where pain and irritation is experienced in the anus. During the initial stages, the presence of hemorrhoids might cause some pain and irritation in as well as the area, which surrounds the anus. The hemorrhoids, which are present both inside as well as outside the anus, will be red in color. The main reason for the occurrence of hemorrhoids is constipation and unhygienic activities after passing stools. Hemorrhoids otherwise occur due to old age, pregnancy and some other medical condition which is already present. The internal hemorrhoids are present very close to the end of the anus. Sometimes these can also project outside the anus and cause a lot of irritation and severe pain.
Though hemorrhoids are very painful, they are not so dangerous and definitely not fatal. People start rubbing and scratching due to the presence of hemorrhoids and sometimes the itching and irritation can be very severe and there will also be a lot of pain. It is very common for both old men and women to be affected by hemorrhoids. Hemorrhoids have affected more than half the population all over the world. Hemorrhoids affect many pregnant women especially during childbirth. This is due to the pressure, which is exerted on the blood vessels when the child is trying to come out. But these can also be cured very easily.
The most common way of detecting the presence of hemorrhoids is when traces of blood can be found in the stools. But this is not the only symptom, which is conclusive of the presence of hemorrhoids. Blood can be discharged along with the stools even when the person is suffering from some digestive problems. It is always best to consult a doctor and determine the presence of hemorrhoids. There could also be some swelling of external and internal hemorrhoids are present. The anus should be cleaned properly in order to avoid such hemorrhoids. If constipation keeps occurring regularly and frequently, then a doctor should be consulted and he will tell you what to do in order to avoid hemorrhoids. A balanced diet with some regular exercise should be followed so that stools are discharged everyday. Hemorrhoids are not fatal and they can be cured easily within a short span of time. If any kind of pain or irritation is experienced, then it should be examined and treated immediately without further delay to avoid any problems in the future.
